Little Bear Crochets
Unfortunately more and more AI is popping up in the crochet world. More trashy AI patterns, more AI pictures of fake crocheted creations and worst of all, more misleading AI listings for crochet items/patterns in online shops. They are pushing out real artists, demotivating crafters, scamming customers and overall just flooding the scene with low-quality slop.

Taking a much-needed day off to do crafty stuff with the teen. Tonight we’ll go to opening night of a new yarn fest. I have somewhat mixed feelings about it! Some well known internet knitting folks with local ties dropped it down on the weekend following a local fiber fest, which probably really messed them up. BUT it’s also so much more convenient than that local fest, which was an hour drive for us. We’re able to take the bus tonight & we can bike tomorrow if we go back. #crafting #knitting

I've been wanting to do more sketchy collaging - like, just putting together collages without too much thought and without feeling like I have to make everything perfect - so I made a little "sketchbook" out of junk mail. Given that it's basically made out of trash, I feel like I will have an easier time experimenting and doing some loose, messy collages in it :)

Oh no. My brain has chosen my next crafting project without my consent.
I've got a very close friend who moved to the US from Ukraine as a child and still has a lot of family there, as well as pride in his heritage.
I'm also pretty sure he doesn't have a hand-embroidered shirt to show off that heritage.

Folks, my next project may be making a vyshyvanka.

(Btw I hate hand-stitching and embroidery, but here we are)

First try at DIY-needle minder out of UV Epoxy Resin, 2 magnets, some key charms and a little bit glitter.
It's lightweight enough to use it on embroidery or during the sewing of bigger EPP-projects. I really like it and will do some more in the future.

(I used a form for a pendant, need something without a hole for a string.. tried to close, but obviously failed)

My thanks goes to @ulktante@troet.cafe - hadn't she used a bought (and really beautiful!) needle minder during our online meeting of #VersponnenerSalon last month, I wouldn't have known that something so useful exists! 😅😘
