Dramas with the eldest again for again very low energy. Applied texture paste around the feet of these nerds to hide the pudding bases, among others.

Bunch of miniature models on 25 millimeter bases covered with Vallejo beach sand texture. Not the models but the bases are covered in the texture of course. The models depict a wide range of things that occurred in medieval manuscripts as marginalia. There is a dragon wearing a bowler hat because that is what you get. There is a demon with a face on his stomach and another very hairy one with horns and bird claws all over the place. There are plenty of snails and dogs and bunnies involved in jousting.

It is done!!! It lives!!!! My first diorama that I finished... except the glass panel that I want to put in front of it, so it won't be covered in dust.

Now you can also see the light in the house! Although, it wasn't as easy to take a picture of.
The third picture is for scale and more "in real life" lighting.

This picture shows a book nook/ diorama, depicting a hill full of trees (made of island moss). Amidst the forest sits a small stone house, heavy clouds (made with cotton wool), are hanging from the "sky", covering the top of the mountain (and the LED strip underneath, that simulates daylight). The sides are plastered with mirror foil to create the illusion of width.
This pictures shows the same diorama, but this time the sky light is turned of but the windows of the house a lit up.

The very first test prints of three parts of my #NeXT #MegaPixel display. And oh boy… the middle part (that one with the ribs) is a nightmare for #FDM printing! Horrible post processing getting rid of the support material! This is wh. y I'm thinking of buying a resin printer. The customers will appreciate it too. Because the parts will have WAY BETTER surface quality!

In 2020 I started to build Dioramas. I started 4 of them and to this day haven't finished a single one.
BUT, about a week ago I decided to give up on this hobby and somehow that helped with hitting the finish line with the newest diorama, a book nook. The plan is to add cotton wool to cover the LEDs, to create a cloudy landscape and put a glass panel in front.
(The house has light too).

A wooden box a little taller and wider than a Ken Follett book. It shows a hill or mountain covered in autumn coloured iceland moss to simulate trees. The sides are plastered with mirror foil to create the illusion of width. Amidst the "trees" sits a little house with two chimneys, one producing smoke. At the ceiling of the box is an led strip, lighting up the scenery.
