On second thought, my #BikeNite answer about the number of #bicycles I would like to have or would need to have was incorrect. I don't really need or want a backup #ebike with Winter tires.

What I need is access to a local bike shop that can rent me a backup #ebike, if anything happens to mine requiring repair, and a second set of wheels with Winter tires.

So, 3 bikes, not 4: ebike (with 2nd set of Winter wheels) for groceries/commuting, fitness road bike, casual street bike. #BikeTooter

It took a week but I finished the #bobcat #video. Its got a real title, intro, body and closing credits:-) and QRcodes for more info.

Still not sure how #peertube and #mastodon are plumbed together. so there are two links, one should work and if anyone can explain the difference I would be grateful.

I post an image from my previous #ebike ride on #inaturalist. I came across a #bobcat right beside the trail and got a chance to film it on the hunt. I should have something on #peertube shortly.
I know I said that last week:-) I'm learning. I'm learning how to add audio.

UGH. I just broke the headlight on my #ebike. I was halfway in my house, coming back from a grocery run, when I stopped to talk to a neighbor, and my ebike started falling over. I managed to keep it from crashing, but it must have got wedged in the doorway, and now my headlight isn't working properly. I hope I didn't damage the wiring harness; I hope it's just the pigtail coming out of the lamp housing.

I'll check it out more closely tomorrow.

This morning it was -4F (-20C) when I set out on my #ebike to go meet my ice hockey team for coffee. It was a lot less windy than yesterday so it was tolerable. After coffee, I rode downtown for a city sponsored open house to garner cyclists' input on alternate bicycle routes now that Mayo Clinic will be building over the existing N-S downtown bike lanes. There's not a lot of choices and the construction will make it even worse. Then I rode home for a total 12 miles and +2F.

Strange morning. I woke up at 7 despite not having set an alarm, then wanted to do a quick eeb ride, but had forgotten to charge it (I'm lazy. I parked it in my corridor yesterday) and it was at 21%.
So I got the charger, then procrastinated, and ended up leaving at 9 with 63% battery or so.
I decided to go up the Blauen and to turn around at 9:50, or 20% battery, whichever came first. It was cold! #eBike #MorningRide #BikeTooter
